“When the Sky Moves”
There is a special time on the Wadden Sea when the light becomes soft and the expanses of the marshes awaken in a new way.
This is where the evening unfolds and the birds begin their great movements towards the night.
\ - Soup, bread and wine at Vester Vedsted Vingård
\ - Your guide on the tour
\ - Equipment for loan.
Price: 500 kr.
\ - From around March, the order changes, so we start with soup at the Vineyard and then head towards Råhede.
We go out to the dyke at Råhede and experience how nature shifts gears:
Cranes look towards the Wadden Sea to find calm for the night the sea eagle may come
hovering by in search of the last meal of the day -- and sometimes the owl shows up in
dusk, quiet and almost weightless.
We bring binoculars so we can curiously and respectfully examine the marshes and wade
from a distance — without disturbing. Along the way we share stories about the landscape, bird life
and the rhythm of the seasons.
The evening ends at Vester Vedsted Vingård, where we gather for seasonal soup and let the body land after a walk in the tranquility of nature.
